I’ve read a lot of natural health books and I’ve found some are very informative and practical while others are…… not.
Here are my very top recommendations:

Pregnancy:
Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way
The VBAC Companion
The Birth Book

Children’s Health:
ABC Herbal
How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor
The Vaccine Book

How to Herb:
Herbal Antibiotics
ABC Herbal (again)
Making Herbs Simple DVD
Practical Herbalism

Novels:
The Mark of the Lion Series
The Atonement Child

I just read (and reviewed) Herbal Antibiotics last month. I thought it was a very useful book and can’t wait to use more of the remedies.

No, I can wait if it means being healthy instead of sick! ;)

    I agree!
You made me realize I gave that book away. I’d better order another one! It’s super handy to have around.

I second the Bradley book, Vaccine Book, and Birth Book! I’ve added the herbal books to my “must read” list. I’d really like to learn more about herbal remedies. Thanks for sharing!

You have good taste in books :-)
There are so many herbal books out there! Herbal Antibiotics and ABC Herbal are the best for beginners (ABC Herbal more if you have kids). Practical Herbalism is more of a reference book (very reader/user friendly though).

    I loved The Vaccine Book!

I’ll have to look for these herbal titles at our library. Thanks!
